This 10K walk started across the street from the First United Methodist Church. Below is Carol and Lenore getting registered and a picture of the church. |

The walk took us through the Plaza with a nice waterfall and along one of the main streets. |

We passed a creek incased by cement walls, and chatted with Siba as she passed us. |

There were lots of Mimosa Trees and I thought this one was particularly nice. I also liked the decorated stump. |

We saw the colored roof of the Wax Museum off in the distance. Two Dallas Trekkers caught up with us as we were going down this hill. |

The checkpoint was set up in the park. Leaving the checkpoint the trail led us uphill across the grass. |

We looked back at the checkpoint below. Over the hill was this nice playground. |
